Ontario to Take Over Maintenance of Thousand Islands Parkway – December 18, 2024
Ontario Transportation Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria holds a news conference in Rockport to announce that the province will now be responsible for the annual maintenance and rehabilitation of the Thousand Islands Parkway. The province will also invest $27.5-million to resurface highway 401 between Mallorytown and Brockville to prepare the future widening of the highway.
