With just a few hours to go before the results of the national election are announced, a number of guests take part in this special edition of Revue Politique, including professors Luc Dupont, Marthe Blouin and Clinton Archibald from the University of Ottawa. Young people and strategists from the various political parties analyse their chances of being elected to the House of Commons. Journalists Julie Rocheleau, Martin Stringer, Michelle Lavoie, Jean-Pierre Allard and Robert McMillan provide an overview of regional issues, while Ali Chaisson of the Fédération des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador and Phillipe Resnick, professor of political science at the University of British Columbia, describe the concerns of voters in these regions. Finally, William Johnson of the Information Office and political commentator Sheila Copps analyse the current election campaign.
