The Rockburn Files – British Columbia
In this final episode of The Rockburn Files, Ken, Trevor and Rob head for the west coast, British Columbia, aka Lotusland - a place some say has been passed over by vote-seeking federal leaders who are focussing on Ontario. Ken talks with Jamie Kelley, the Liberal party member who claimed he received $50,000 for his music festival, Rootsfest, from a "slush fund" that was part of the sponsorship program. The west coast film industry is up in arms about the Conservative plan to eliminate corporate subsidies, which in their opinion is a good line of defence against threats by California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to pull American productions out of B.C. Ken spends a day at VANDU (Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users) which is a support organization for former and current addicts. They are also pressuring both provincial and federal bureaucrats to open the first safe injection site in North America. Ken discovers the most politically astute observers are not the pundits, but the addicts at VANDU, along with the homeless, an estimated 1,200 in the city.

Vote 2004 – Outremont
Michelle Lavoie takes an in-depth look at the riding of Outremont, Quebec. The riding of Outremont is one of the Liberals' most solid strongholds in Quebec. However, this fight will not be an easy ride for Jean Lapierre, whom Paul Martin chose to be the Liberals' political lieutenant in Quebec. Indeed, Mr. Lapierre's straight talk has sparked intense reaction even within his own party. This has motivated his challengers to work even harder to capture this riding. The BQ's François Rebello has run an unrelenting campaign since the election was called, Omar Aktouf is one of the strongest NDP candidates in Quebec, and Conservative candidate, Marc Rousseau is also a strong contender. Michelle Lavoie has breakfast with Jean Lapierre, and goes door-to-door with François Rebello. Michelle also speaks with Express d'Outremont editor-in-chief, Marilaine Bolduc-Jacob, to find out more about the riding of Outremont and the candidates who are running for this seat. Michelle follows NDP candidate, Omar Aktouf as he meets with voters, and she talks with Marc Rousseau at a local shopping mall.

Mr Mar speaks with Peter Van Dusen tonight. In an election race that's too close to predict, it may be the undecided and 'soft' voters who determine the eventual outcome. What has the electorate reported to the CPAC-SES Research pollsters about where so-called swing voters may be heading? Nikita Nanos, president of SES Research explains. Bill Pristanski (Conservative strategist), Susan Smith (Liberal strategist) and Brad Lavigne (NDP) debate the merits of their parties' platforms as they analyze the days campaign events.
